I just got back from Vegas; my mileage on the return trip, which included about a 1000 foot decrease in altitude over the 338 mile drive, was 52.9 miles per gallon. My 2006 Prius just turned 1 year old this week - 18,660 miles - 357 gallons of 87 octane gas = 52.2 mpg 325 miles of commute per week. ( about half at 55 to 70 mph and half at 35/45 mph ) Even love it for long hours on the Interstate. I'm think'in I'ze done good! Robert in Piedmont NC
