Ash Tray Won't Stay In

Does anyone know what's supposed to keep the ash tray in the closed position
('98 T100)?  Mine works its way out almost immediately, and it's starting to
bug me.

Check the guide rails.  Also check the ashtray spring.

Mine does that on my 03 tacoma, bugs me too, next time I take it in for
an oil change or service I'm going to make a warranty claim on it.
