Hi All

I'm having a bit of trouble with my handbrake at the moment. Everything
seems ok with the mechanism, but it just doesn't seem to move enough to
engage fully. Even by pulling on the lever at the backing plate doesn't put
much pressure on the shoes.

The shoes have about 3mm left on them, so I don't think they're worn out.

Any suggestions???

Thanks

Terb

Manually adjust the shoes tighter - don't rely on the automatic adjuster
after 23 years it is rusty and dirty.
