2001 Tacoma Shock Replacement

Anyone with experience changing front shocks on a 2001 Tacoma?  Are
Bilsteins OEM the best replacement for a 2WD TRD?

Like to know difficultly and what is a the safest spring compressor.  I
assume I'll need one.

I put Bilstiens on my 99, good shock. You can get a good compressor
from Harbor Frieght for a good price.
