Is there known issues with them getting pulsey/worn easily.  I had my
original rotors turned at ~45K, replaced at ~60K, and it seems here at
~65K I'm starting to feel a little subtle pulsing again.  I haul a bit
of a load once in a while (few hundred lbs), but never tow.  Just
wondering.  I sure love it otherwise.

~sips his mushroom tea...takes a toke......wonders if you'de rather
jest replace

Well, now I am a little confused.  I thought modern day brakes were self
adjusting.  My understanding was that the rear drums are adjusted by setting
and releasing the parking brake and the front disk were completely self
adjusting?

What is involved to adjust the brakes?

Paul.

now, hopefully your concerns were addressed fully, according to
the requests you made.

if not....

then ask the question you want the answer to to get the answer
you want.

~sips his mushroom tea, takes a toke,........and still wonders
if you'de rather replace all the parts to return the system to
"like new".....................naw.......he hasn't shown any concern
over why that may work too~

Well MM, while the clever, witty tone of your response sounds like
newsgroup troll behavior, giving you the benefit of the doubt,...what
about what Paul asked?

Is it really a "brake adjustment" every other oil change?!  You run a
garage or what?  Perhaps I'll get a precision floor-mat alignment as
well, maybe flush-and-fill the ash-try too. ;-P

You humble me sir with yer gratious offer of gifts and benefits.

and.....
as for Paul.......he seems a bit confused, disoriented, and does not
know which way to go.  You sir, should have answered his question
yerself..(though i am still humbled by yer offerings of gifts and
benefits)......
unless you don't quite understand the concept of INSURING your rear
brakes are well adjusted so your FRONT brakes don't do ALL the work,
see'n as they do the horses load of it in the first place......and he
didn't
seem overly eager about my after thought of replacing part......
which i think HE has done...and i would emphasize....the HE, me
defining HE as him, his brother, his brothers friend, his brothers
friends uncles buddies girlfriends dad......who jest happen to have
a reeeeeelly nice garage behind their house.....i could be wrong
though......HE...."may", sometimes is, and I've found often as not,
could be.....one of dem der speedy franchise tech wanna be master
brake techs that make $300-$500 a week cuz dey's good.....and
FAST....and good....but mostly...FAST....and mostly young.
(speed kills..so does ignorance..combine the two)

anywhooooooo.........

as to yer 2nd paragraph, and your questions there in..........
with menial consideration, no thought, and an overwhelming
eagerness to make yer day.........

I came up with the following TWO answers....
to your TWO questions.......

#1
Who said "every other oil change" ??

#2
Or what.

In closing.....I would ask that instead of yer gracious offer
of gifts and benefits.....i would prefer to coment on your
VERY LAST statement..........

I think you, as any other, should do as you wish with your
own vehicle.  But, however, although, .....it has been MY
experience that even a nimrod can adjust floormats and
flush and fill "ash-try"s........??

with a bit of training.

:)
