If you feel like you already own the best vehicle there is available
in the planet, but feel like you need to contribute to the environment
to help and protect it especially since global warming is a growing
problem of today, what you could do is have your car converted into an
electric.  Though it may sound funny or something that is impossible,
well, brace yourself because now, more and more companies are offering
to give service of electric car conversion that would not only benefit
you when it comes to cost efficiency but also, they could help in
making the earth greener. Discount Auto Parts http://www.behot.us

Depends on the features you wish for your electric "car" to have.  Its
an interesting proposal as there are countless possibilities.  You
could find a large electric motor and fab up mounts and such to run it
through your tranny or you could pay someone to do all of the work.  I
know that theres a place up island from where I live(Victoria BC) but
because I don't know what area your hoping to find a company in its
hard to help you.

You will have to decide on a battery or other fuel cell type that
meets your needs and then source those as well as getting the rest of
the conversion kit.  I have a couple of buddies who are just putting
the finishing touches on an electric minivan.  I understand they've
got most of the control systems and possibly the regenerative braking
working if your interested in that.

Personally if your looking to save cash and help the environment I'd
recommend considering a vegetable oil fueled car as they are much more
environmentally friendly then a petroleum fueled car  plus cheep to
operate and easily converted from a diesel. In fact they can even run
on both diesel and veggy oil.
