UK Rav tinted screen

I am in the UK have just had Autoglass replace the front windscreen of my
2001 Rav4 VX.
The new screen does not look tinted at all, although Autoglass claim it has
a green tint. The other windows are clearly tinted although not what I
understand is called privacy glass.

Has there been a change in the tint of the front windscreen on the Rav and
should it appear as tinted as it did previously.

Thanks,

Roger

I have no idea how the UK works, but here in the states if you have
your 'windscreen' replaced by someone other than the dealer the type
glass can vary all over the place.

I had my '92 Corolla Wagon 'windscreen' replaced and it had better
tint than the original.

Thanks. for your comments. Autoglass is a major national company used by
virtually all the car insurance companies here - they offer a 24/7
replacement service. The original screen was made in Japan, the replacement
was made by a UK company but should be the same as the original. My question
is what was the tint of the original front windscreen.
