I've heard lots about Reid's shady deals on CNN and PBS radio. There were 2
AP stories about him recently. One was a land deal that he did not report
correctly in his finance records although the details make it sound a bit
trivial. He personally owned land that he transferred to a limited
partnership without noting that in his financial statements and then when he
the partnership sold it he recorded the profits. So what? The only thing
that sounds like it had the potential to be shady would have been if the
land had been sold at a loss. The limited partnership might possibly have
been used to save him from a loss but that never happened so we will never
know.
The other item is that he was using campagn money to give holiday tips to
his hired help. I think it was $3700 which he has reimbursed his fund
for. $3700 in tips? Wish he would hire me.

what I was getting at Art is yep, Reid deals probably small potatoes but
only passing interest in the media. Yet some backwater Republican e-mails
pages and every Republican from Bush down is at fault? Reprehensible, you
bet. But how can Bush et.al. be responsible for everyones piss poor
conduct?
Lets get back to Hach's favorite subject the "Big Dig" that used some 12% of
the entire Interstate budget and still leaks/falls. Who pushed for it?
And just read Mass now banning tag cause of possible injuries in some
schools. No wonder the kids are so fat and stupid.
Have a good day!
