The last set of figures was a concious effort to keep cruising RiPpMs
between 2-3K, and shifting no later than 3K.

Oh, for those not keeping track, 2005 Scion tC.

Why is your gas so expensive?  It is less than $2 in SE VA.  Are you
using Regular Unleaded or Premium?

I use Premium (We've had this discussion before!)
But, even 87 Oct is 2.24-2.32. Taxes, my friend, taxes.

I don't know what is going on with gas prices, but Kankakee has jumped up 10
cents in the last week while everyone else is going down.  It's 2.26 there.

Check your arithmetic, I see 530.8 miles using 18.153
gallons equals 29.24 mpg.
