I had one 2 years and went to the local glass company..
They drilled a small hole in the chipped spot to the plastic, put a suction
device on it for a while..
Next they inject some kind of clear epoxy..
Cure it with a special lamp..
Took about 45 minutes..
I can't see any sign of the chips..
It cost $70.00 for 2 chips as best I recall..
The guarantee is that if the crack travels they will give you credit on a
new windshield...
My prior experience with another car was I bought a $10.00 kit that seemed
to work but later the crack travelled and I had to get a new windshield..
So it's your call..
