Hi Nat
I think the cartoon with GM/Chrysler, while cute, makes not much sense to
GM.  Of course K-mart bought sears after being broke so who knows?

That one puzzled me too - we haven't used our Sears account for anything but
household appliances.

:-P

It's my understanding they carry women's fashions in your age group. You
might want to take a look the next time you need to update your wardrobe.

*Every* department store carries those.  Sears just isn't very stylish, and
their prices are usually ridiculous, considering the quality.  Besides, the
interest rate on the card is outrageous, unless you buy appliances, which is
the only reason we kept it so long.  We finally closed it.

You too?  The sales people in the appliance dept. know everything
about their products, while the people in the electronics dept. seem
to know nothing about theirs.  For example, there were two identical
Panasonic LCD TVs right next to one another, each plugged into a
digital signal feed, but one showed a fuzzy picture while the other
had a clear picture.  The sales critter couldn't explain this and
tried to blame the building's amplifier, which made no sense when the
input was digital instead of analog.

I can take that one for you.  Whichever one they want to sell has a signal
amplifier, and the ones they don't have a standard connection.

That's why all the regular TVs in Circuit City, Best Buy, etc. look like
sh.t, and the HD ones look sooooo much better.

I didn't hear that from a Best Buy employee or anything
