I have a 06 Corolla. It seems that if I lock the car with the keyless
entry, and then unlock the car with the key... the alarm immediately
turns on. Also, if I lock the car with the key, then I can't unlock
it with they keyless entry. Anyone know what is going on. We only
have ony keyless entry remote, but 2 drivers for the car. Is there a
way to lock the car with they keyless entry remote and still unlock
the car reguarly with just a key?

I believe that the factory keyless entry system comes with 2 remotes. What
brand name is on the keyless entry? Is it a factory system or an
aftermarket system?
If it is a factory system, the dealer should be able to fix the problem,
which is probably with the door unlock sensor.

I don't kniow what's going on w/ the alarm & not breing to unlock it vias
remote, but... if it was factory installed, you should definitely have been
given two remotes.

Unless your 2006 is out of warranty because of high mileage, this would seem
to be the dealer's problem, and your only problem is which magazine to read
in the waiting room while the dealer's people work on it.

And if one dares to turn TV from inane channel to something worth watching -
or off. ;-)
In the meantime, can bring own book or magazine, &/or go drool over new cars
in showroom, & drink the free coffee. ;-)
