I have an 04 corolla it was rolled over into some snow, now it will
not start. I have a good battrey and it is getting plenty of power. I
am only geting some of the dash lights like oil and door open, but not
check engine light, (at any time). I have checked all fuses, I have
swapped relays, the starter is good. the car will not even attemt to
start. I was told that the car should start even if the ecu is not
working correctly, the computer is the last thing I can think of but I
was hopeing maybe someone had some input before I buy one. need some
ideas please help

Start with the basics - air, fuel, and spark at the appropriate time.

Whether the car will start or not with a bad ECU depends on what is wrong
with the ECU.

Does it have a fuel pump cutoff that needs to be reset, and since you said
it rolled over, did the fluids drain out of the battery?  Did any wiring
pull loose?

Worse yet is there oil in the cylinders?  ;)

Some vehicles are equipped with safety features such as as a "rollover
switch" usually triggered at a specific degree of angle. I'm not sure if
the Corolla has such a device, but if it does, there usually is a
procedure to reset it or in some systems design require replacement
before allowing the vehicle to operate. Some other devices on some
vehicles will not allow starting if an air bag deployment has occurred.
Ask Ray O if the Corolla has such a system. He would know, check the
manual (it might mention it), or the Toyota dealer would know for sure.

Hmm, if the vehicle rolled over on its side or roof, I would be surprised
that the OP is trying to start the car without getting the body work
repaired.  I've never heard of a Toyota with a rollover cutoff switch, but
that doesn't mean that there isn't one in the car.

If the car was overturned and there is body damage, then check all of the
wiring connections, especially ground points.

The OP stated that the starter is good, does that mean that the engine
cranks but will not start or does the engine not turn over?

The systems that I have some experience with switch to open the fuel
pump circuit. The vehicle will crank over but not fuel will be pumped.
I'm guessing that the car is drivable from his post. I've had to drive
some cars that should not have been driven just because of circumstances.

Those rollover switches usually have some kind of reset switch in the
luggage compartment, but I have never noticed such a switch in a Toyota.
