SPRINGFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS (WWLP) - Springfield police were taken on a short chase in the downtown area. It happened around 2 o'clock Tuesday morning on Main Street.
Police said officers attempted to stop a vehicle that refused to stop. The suspect ended up crashing on State Street into another vehicle. The driver will be charged on numerous traffic violations.

What this story fails to mention is that they were chasing a motorist who had stopped to pick up a male prostitute (Fred Garvin?) dressed as a woman. The story (video) should give this fact. So, they got involved in a chase that ended up injuring another driver to get a couple of fags?!?!
Boy, I REALLY wish I had had the money to continue with Law School!!!!

I used to go to Western New England College in Springfield. I worked 2nd shift, so after school I would stop at the Spfld Post Office and get a Wall Street Journal. In the stores they were $0.75, but that machine stayed at $0.50 for a LONG time after the price increase.
Sometimes I would run late or have other things to do after school, and would miss. So I would stop on the way home, at 1 AM. Not a *BAD* area, but a good place to look for a 'date'.
After a couple years, my wife started working at the same Co. on the same shift. So, I have her in the car, and I stop on the way home to get a WSJ. A woman across the street asked me if I wanted a date. I replied, "I have my *WIFE* in the car!!!"
"OK...I'll do her too...."
Always tried to make sure I got the WSJ on the way TO work after that...

A few years ago, I pulled up to a light in neighborhood where nobody would expect hookers. This was early afternoon. It was raining so hard that the wipers were almost useless. There's this soaking wet woman standing on the corner holding a gas can, and looking absolutely miserable. There's lightning, so when I turned the corner, I pulled over, cracked the window, and asked if she needed a ride. I was headed past a nearby gas station. She gets in, we get to the gas station, and tells me she can show me a really good time for just ten bucks. sh.t. You do something nice for somebody and then that happens? I told her to get out, she grabbed my crotch. I told her get out, she doesn't get out. She gives me some crap about how I should take a right, go down two streets, and we'll "go someplace". Now, I'm REALLY in no mood for the antics. Pulled out the gun and said "Get out, and step all the way over to that store window, and stay there until you can't see my car any more. And don't slam the door".
Ever seen a black woman turn white? She got out.

What WOULD your Howard Dean say to that?

If so, what percent of the responses do you make?

I haven't resorted to fatuous or churlish barbs directed at you, Joe.
But hey, if you need it to float your boat, have at it.
However, considering your creative editing and lack of direct answers to at least two of my responses to you, then I'd not be finger-pointing at someone else's supposed pedestrianism.

You're one of the bunch that can't answer a secondary question which might help answer the first. This is a common teaching tool, in schools were big people learn.

And as far as unanswered question are concerned, unless I've missed a post or two of yours, I don't recall not answering anything you've asked me.

"Dean received an "A" grade from the NRA. However, N.R.A.. executive director Wayne LaPierre says Dean today is "totally trying to have it both ways." Yes, Vermont has some of the least restrictive gun laws in the nation. But Dean opposes a federal bill that would grant gunmakers immunity from lawsuits and supports background checks for buyers at gun shows—two positions that put him at odds with the N.R.A.. He agrees with most positions of Coalition to Stop Gun Violence."
No surprise that a Dem tries to have his cake, etc.
larry moe 'n curly - 20 Jun 2007 08:29 GMT >>> Pulled out the gun... > [quoted text clipped - 16 lines] > > No surprise that a Dem tries to have his cake, etc. So why did the NRA give Dean an "A" instead of an "A-" or "A" with an asterisk?
It wouldn't have been that difficult for Dean to back strong gun control measures in Vermont, one of the most liberal states in the nation, with even its Republicans tending to be more to the right than many Democrats elsewhere. Why, they even have a socialist US Senator!

It isn't as though both parties don't have members that have done so out of expedience. Why is this so hard for you to grasp?
JoeSpareBedroom - 20 Jun 2007 13:06 GMT >>>> Pulled out the gun... >>> [quoted text clipped - 16 lines] > > No surprise that a Dem tries to have his cake, etc. Do you think Dean's wrong about supporting background checks at gun shows?

You'd have to be stupid to think otherwise in light of Virginia Tech.
And doing so would go far to silence hoplophobes and their insanity.

Yeah, I really wish I had that Law degree. Keep the neck brace and limp a little longer...
There are reasons to engage in chasing another car and risking a collision. This was definitely NOT one of them.

There's a time to engage in a chase, and a time not to, and this was NOT the time to get in a chase. It almost cost someone else his life, and for what? To stop a fag from getting a BJ? Not worth it.
And, I've already been to prison, thanks. Federal.
