WASHINGTON -- This is crunchtime for members of Congress who must decide
whether to seek reelection next year or leave office, and so far
Republicans seem to be lunging for the exits. Sixteen GOP lawmakers have
decided to throw in the towel on their Capitol Hill careers.
Unhappy camper:

Most of them will be indicted soon and they don't want to resign in
disgrace.

That and facing the upcoming elections. "Stay the course" has its
limits after all.

LOL, and he's confused as to just who *has* "special" courts not to
mention the "special" means of getting there...., the "Special Removal
Unit."

You are the one claiming that those senators who are for taking out Saddam
and stabalizing Iraq are going to court. By all means, please tell us which
court.

I'm glad to see Congress is being rooted out. Let's hope the whole lot
is replaced.

They could *all* leave, both party's, and we'd still have George's
illegitimate child to support. And *its* children as well. For a
loooong time.

One can understand why they are retiring They are old guys with many years
of service that will get good pensions and are no longer up to fighting with
all the kooks over on the Dims side of the isle. Would you want to listen
to the ranting of Pelosi etc. if you were at the same point in your life?
LOL
