Dutch Catholics have re-branded the Lent fast as the "Christian
Ramadan" in an attempt to appeal to young people who are more likely
to know about Islam than Christianity.

"The image of the Catholic Lent must be polished. The fact that we use
a Muslim term is related to the fact that Ramadan is a better-known
concept among young people than Lent," said Vastenaktie Director,
Martin Van der Kuil.

I find that really depressing.

Sounds like the church is having problems making its message relevant.
Otherwise, its followers would still be paying attention.

You'd have to have some knowledge of the Dutch.  The degradation of all
facets of their culture and country have been going on for decades.

Or maybe it's because government-run schools have supressed all
Christian traditions and supplanted them with Moslem ones instead, much
like the government-run schools in America are in the process of doing.
This might be where young people are getting their indoctrinations into
the "religion of peace".

Show me evidence of government run schools in America that are doing what
you claim.

The Leftards are ostriches, ducking their head in the sand.    As far back
as 1988, when my sister was in high school, they had the Koran in the school
library, books about Wicca, but the Bible was banned.    The National
Egghead Association has been trying to get rid of such 'primitive' values
for probably 30 years now.  We've probably ruined 2 generations of school
kids in public scrhools.

complained...

More examples, please. A lot more. I want to see proof that there is a wave
of change overtaking the country.
