I don't know the others, but the RAV4 & the Odyssey are *trucks*??

The CX-9 is also a car.  I've pretty sure CX stands for "crossover".

Yes, they are. They are classified by the people who write the safety
and CAFE regulations as trucks. And, often, vans and SUVs are based on
truck platforms.

That may be C&D's opinion of which are the five best trucks, but it
obviously is not the opinion of the BUYERS of the top five trucks.    Seems
the sales figures more accurately represent which are really the top five.

But how many people refer to SUVs - whether big or small, or minivans as
"trucks"?  With the title "2008  5 Best Trucks" I was expecting to see a
bunch of pick-ups - large & small.

Dude where is the Taco, I can't believe the Tacoma isn't in the list.
But sometimes CarAndDriver can be a little biased. I haven't checked
MotorTrend or Consumer Reports, I wonder what their top choices are?

I guess he's not a spammer!

I think the list should be the five best passenger vehicles that are
not called cars. Not a decent "truck" in the list (including the
Silverado).
