Hachiroku ハチロク - 22 May 2008 04:20 GMT Good God! Almost two full hours of Kennedy on the evening news! Kennedy coming out of the hospital. Kennedy in his SUV. Kennedy on his veranda. Kennedy on his yacht. Kennedy being wished well by people lining the street on the way to his home.
I finally flipped the channel when they started interviewing the people lining the streets to wish him well on the way to his home!
GIVE IT A REST!!!
NBC Evening news gave him ~7 minutes. That was all we really needed to get the picture!
Not all of us in Mass are enamoured with the man...

Remember the SNL thing about "Buckwheat is dead!", in which they lampooned the media for their endless, pointless coverage of stories? Slow-mo of Buckwheat's shooting from this angle, that angle, interviews with people who had nothing to contribute, blah blah blah. It's all true.
