Too bad this wasn't the Bush we had as president.

That is the same George W Bush we've had all along.  I remember a
televised black-tie fundraiser just prior to the 2000 elections where
Al Gore and George W Bush were the speakers.  They were cracking jokes
and cutting each other up good-naturedly.  It was a hilarious scene and
showed the relaxed side of both candidates.  Of course Al Gore was
mostly reading his lines and GWB was just using his wit but they were
both performing flawlessly.

It is obvious you like the guy personally as do the majority of
Americans.  It is fair to criticize a politician's policies but some of
the personal stabs at the man are completely unfounded.

First off he had all the news cameras removed and then criticized Wall
Street.  Second, are you talking about the speech where Bush joked
about looking everywhere for WMD?  That was offensive and very
telling.

Liking the guy as a person has nothing to do with liking the way he
has shredded the constitution.

Why do you hate the constitution? If your fantasy world, you were once in
the military, whose oath claims you'll defend the constitution against ALL
ENEMIES foreign OR DOMESTIC.

For neo-cons, the constitution is, "An Inconvenient Truth," something to
be trotted out when it suits their needs, and something to be trampled
on at other times.

Don't confuse neo-cons with conservatives of course.

It's funny how not that long ago, the same people were pointing out the LACK
of rights which made the USSR & China such evil places.

You read books.

I served in the military and read books.

MY oath....was:

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and
defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies,
foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to
the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the
United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me,
according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So
help me God.

Again....you are WRONG.

It is enemies foreign AND domestic.

Why haven't you fulfilled the oath? We have a domestic enemy of the
constitution living in the White House.

Obama's 2nd amendment issues
Obama's 4th amendment issues, as broken as Bush's.

If you don't know what I mean with that second comment, there's nothing
anyone can do to help you. No further information will be provided.

You don't know because you don't read. Exactly how do you spend your spare
time?

Let's see....your president has damaged the 4th and 6th amendments, while I
want them obeyed verbatim, with absolutely no further interpretation, and
you think ***I*** am the enemy?

How has GWB "damaged the 4th and 6th amendments"?

As I explained in another message just a few minutes ago, no further
explanation will be provided for you. The information's been in the grownup
news sources for at least the last 3 years. If you don't know about it, it's
because you have made a great effort to not know.

Ronald Raygun said it first.  You have a double standard, one for
whites and another for everyone else.  The classic definition of bias.

Barry plagiarized Ronnie Raygun....

Barry's name should NEVER be used in the same sentence.
