If you biuld a filter that filters out OT, then posts with toyOTa in the
subject go away.
Please add a : after OT, like OT:
That way, I can filter out the OT: posts when I feel I've had enough
excitement for one day.
It all comes to some standard. Some do {OT}, sone do (OT), I do (OT:), etc
If we all do the same thing, those who want to filter Off Topic posts can
do so with one filter, and won't be eliminating posts with toyOTa in the
header...
Just a suggestion...
Of course, the S/N ratio could be greatly improved by filtering out
JoeSpareBedroom... (and there are those who would add me as well) ;P
BTW, where the hell IS Joey of late? He finally put down the crack pipe
and off to Rehab?

I disagree. Putting a : after OT will cause MS OE to strip the entire
OT: from the subject line and replace it with Re: That is why you will
see OT: posts losing the OT: as MSOE users reply.
It is far better to use {OT}, [OT], OT etc. when creating such posts.
Of course this doesn't take away from the fact we shouldn't be creating
such topics anyway...

So how shall I make my OT's? I don't want to cause problems for those
who do not want to view OT's. Brackets perhaps. I'll do what ever
works for the rest. I use MT-Newswatcher and never encounter any
problems either way.

Thanks, guys! Yeah, this works, and I will remember NOT to put the : in MY
OT posts! ;)

What ever works for you my friend. Let me know if the new one doesn't
work.

I think we all know by now that I am one of the biggest 'offenders' in
{OT} posting in this group, but there are times when I just don't feel
like filtering through all the posts to see if there is actually something
related to Toyotas! ;)
I think this will do the trick!

Ah, yes, you are, as almost always, correct.
Having not been a user of Outhouse Express for newsgroups for about 15
years I forgot this little piece of 'buggery'. Thanks for the refresher,
Professor!!

Idiot. Don't read the messages you don't want to read. You need a computer
to help your brain manage that Herculean task?

Take an inventory of how many OTs there are, bright boy...
A simple request, and all you give is lip service. Totally to be expected
from the Liberals...nothing but grief.

out with a cheerful smile...feh.
