Ever sit back and watch Scott, badgolfboy, mickie hunt, dbu and a few
other minions of the far right just post crap back and forth to each
other.  It must make them feel reassured.  Let's see how long they can
sustain a discussion without any input from us lefties.  I bet they
can keep a discussion going for days repeating the same crap for days
without the the smallest opposing opinion.

What a great idea!  Keep all your friends quiet, this would be a much
nicer place to be.

It would only be temporary just to watch you guys post the same 3 or 4
sentences back and forth.  Enjoy.

You're new here, ed.  You know this OT stuff started several years ago
with a leftie named Art?  Others had to jump in to correct him and keep
others from being misinformed.

BGM is 100 percent correct.  I came to this NG to find out about my
Sienna and there was ART ragging about politics, so I had to jump in and
give him a little slap-down because he deserved it.

There is nothing wrong with the OT posts.  I just find it humorous
that the righties post the same message back and forth to each other -
dims, clintoon.  I don't get it but I moved left about 4 years ago
after therapy.  ;-)

Just countering what the knobs post.  I moved right 40 years ago after I
grew up.

A most ambitious plan but if that was indeed your intent, you have failed
miserably, both here and in the body politic as a whole. But carry on, Ed's
point is well taken, you are simply preaching to your own choir.

You're new also tak.  I was one who railed against Scott, Hachi, mike
hunt, Philip, Wickeddoll, and several others for months before I
succumbed to the OT conversations.

It was with the arrival of Learning Richard that things really heated
up.  Don't pay attention to him now, he used to be quite formidable but
I think he must be on some hallucinogens now.  LR's replacement
JoeSpareBedroom is responsible for all the misinformation these days
and we have no choice but to smack him down occassionally.  It's really
for his own good, we don't like doing it.

Yeah, old Doggie (or is that Dougie) is the latest Moveon.Org ranter.
Believes all the crap they put out and usually repeates it without thinking
over here.   But I see Unlearned Richard the UnChristian is back again and I
see Gary Burnmore is here from time to time as well as Ed Syphillis.

LOL! Me too, but then again, I'm an opinionated SOB and found a sounding
board with some reasonable people on both sides. It gets addictive,

Geeze, tak, that's because you lefties never learn! Look at your Congress!
They keep trying the same old things that have failed in the past. They
raised the minimum wage when it's been shown before raising the min causes
unemployment to rise, which we didn't need right now. They want to put
widfall taxes on oil companies, and the last time that happened domestic
companies throttled back or invested overseas. If Barry gets elected is he
going to try wage and price freezes (yeah, I know, that was Nixon's goof,
but since it didn't work, the Dems will probably try it again...)

big lies over and over for the past seven years, in this NG   LOL

You'll find out just how many of our ILK there are on the 4th of November.
If I were you, I'd stay away from sharp objects or high places on that date,
lest you slit wrists or take a flyer.

You mean, when the Anti-Christ gets elected?

Think things are bad now? Wait till Nobama gets elected. With Libs in the
Congress and the White House this country will *REALLY* take a hit...

"rightwingnut circle jerk" is a very valid expression for those of the idiot
persuasion.   Scott says something, dbu chimes in with "what he said" and
bgm nods approvingly.   and Mike Hunt wakes up from his nap and mutters
"right on!"
These folks seem never to have a thought that wasn't spewed out by Rush,
Faux News, or Anne Coulterthewitch. They couldn't ad lib a belch.

>Oh, so there are only extremes?  Don't think so...

No, there are not only extremes.  If you draw an imaginary line from
left to right the two end points would be extremes.  The midpoint would
be a moderate.  Almost everyone falls somewhere left (liberal) or right
(conservative) of the midpoint.

Many people say they are moderate because they can accept some points
of liberals and some points of conservatives.  I say a moderate is one
who can't make up their mind about a certain issue.  They can easily be
swayed by an argument from the other side and tip over with a little
push.

You are not a moderate because you have quite strong views of liberal
issues.  I have not seen one conservative issue you back.  Forget the
Republican / Democrat parties for now.  They have morphed into the same
thing, especially since GWB adopted so many of the other party's issues.

I'm more of a moderate, BGM. A right-leaning moderate, but I don't stick
to the Republican hard line.

Hmmm...how is that clear?

I'm terrified this country is going to the Democrats. The track record of
the Reps may be tarnished, but the track record of the Dems is downright
SCARY!

esp the "It didn't work 20 years ago, let's try it again" that is
currently happening...
