Hachiroku ハチロク - 27 Sep 2008 03:37 GMT but Barack did a pretty good job of holding his own during the debate.
I was impressed.

Cathy F. - 27 Sep 2008 03:47 GMT > but Barack did a pretty good job of holding his own during the debate. > > I was impressed. They both did quite well - content-wise, seemed pretty equal, to me. Factually, without knowing nearly as much as they do, they both seemed to be knowledgeable. However, McCain's demeanor bothered me a bit - the patronizing/condescending bit ("Senator Obama doesn't understand...") & he seemed to be try to avoid making any completely unnecessary personal contact w/Obama - lack of being cordial. I don't know if he did himself a favor or disservice by repeatedly referencing to the fact that he's been around a long time, re: experience (the age issue). Obama's demeanor & "presence" struck me as more solid/"presidential" than McCain's - & as more cordial to his opponent.

You'd rather read about it? You don't read. If you did, it would take longer than 1 minute and 22 seconds, and you'd claim the article was slanted.

I don't think it was a blow-out - overall, but he (Obama) hit a bunch of nails smack on their heads in this clip.
And you notice that again, Obama's looking at McCain while he addresses him, while McCain's doing anything but looking at Obama.

Barry does not stutter, or stammer!! Barry uses the ah to eliminate dead air. If you talk on the radio, the biggest killer is dead air, never want to have a time when NOTHING is being said (dead air). Barry gets lost for words so he uses ah, ah, ah, ah, ah to give himself time to think. That does not show he is more intelligent, it shows that he can't come up with the words to say right away. --
