Timing marks are not lining up on upper sprockets when #1 cylinder is
set to TDC. I heard a snap when trying to set to TDC and I believe the
timing chain jumped a sprocket/s but not sure which. Can I simply re-
align cams by removing and reinstalling the chain?
I notice the left sprocket has two marks: 1 for exhaust (EX) and one
for intake (IN). I can only see one mark on the right sprocket so
which one do I line up if this is possible.
Thanks in advance,
K

Actually the Speaker of the House is second in line, not third.   ;)

Make sure #1 cylinder is set to TDC compression (not exhaust).

How are you aligning the timing marks?

Wouldn't happen if you're using the correct tools.

Isn't that how it's done?

The timing mark marked EX is for the exhaust cam.
