The viewers and voters, want change alright, they want the WH occupied
by somebody else. I believe they are saying to themselves, this is not
what I voted for. Back to the same old partisan bickering again. Obama
said change change change and we got the same, same, same. Democrats
are trying to crush any and all opposition to their big giveaway pork
plan. Democrats are saying if you don't do what we say you are not
playing ball with us, you are playing partisan politics, which the
dimmies have always done anyway. The dimmies want the Republican hands
soiled along with theirs so that when the next election comes they can
say the Republicans voted for it too and are just as much to blame.
It's called the blame game. Change change change, instead same same
same.

Certainly, the plane landing in the Hudson, the Obama inauguration,
and the economic news have also had an impact on the news.

When a plane lands you sort of assume it will be taking off again
sometime in the near future. When a plane crashes it is permanently
disabled. That plane they pulled from the depths of the Hudson did not
look like an aircraft that would be flying ever again.

Perhaps but apparently a far greater impact on some news outlets, than
others ;)

BOs approval rating went UP after the election but has DROPPED since the
post election and Inauguration poles.. NOW that's change NOBODY expected.
Does anybody remember the 'empty suit' analogy?
As a black man I hope he succeeds, as a conservative I hope the people do
not allow his extreme policies to succeed. As one who wants America to
succeed, I hope others UNDERSTAND the difference

Not totally. As a Caucasian, a candidate who is also Caucasian GETS NO
extra brownie points from me. NONE, nada, nil, rien. Why should ANYONE vote
for or against anyone because of race?
