Dude, I had three Caravans (well, two were Grand Voyagers) and an LHS.
I have been a Toyota fan all my life, but I REALLY liked those Chryslers.
One of the GVs had a rebuilt trans when I bought it, but the LHS and the
other GV had been maintained properly since Day 1. I'm actually looking
for another GV AWD. And I am STILL kicking myself in the a.s for trading
the LHS for a measly $600 towards the tC! It was big, but it handled as
well as an old Celica I had, got 28 MPG, and was as comfortable as my
living room chair!
It was going to cost about $2500 to fix the AC (ever heard the old joke
about building the car around the heat exchanger? NO JOKE!) and I had a GV
that I could fix like new for ~$700, so I kept the van...and then broke
the idler pulley and 7 of 10 bolts holding the water pump. I sold it for
$200...

I had a pushbutton automatic in a Newport. :)

The joke's really more in reference to Fiat. The other one is "How do you get
Fiat parts?" "Follow one around".
