Don't you know the difference?   Republicans respect the rights of those
with whom they may not agree politically.   Those that are not Republicans
on the other hand hate the fact that you disagree with them politically.

Look around in this NG at our friends on the left, they will call you names
as soon as you post something with which they disagree then get pisssed when
you do likewise in return.

For all of the years I was a contributing to the campaigns of Democrats, my
friends and business associates that were Republicans, never chided me for
doing so.   When Reagan came along and wised me up politically, I started to
support Republicans, all of a sudden I was called an Uncle Tom and a rich
nigger, who did care about the plight of blacks, even though I employed
hundreds of backs.
