MSD distributor

Is it possible to run a MSD distributor on a 20R series engine?
Or maybe use the original distributor? Can the stock distributor take the
amount of punishment a MSD box delivers?

What's the vehicle? What kind of punishement are you going to give it?
When it comes to Toyota, unless you're racing it, I'd stay with stock...

What year? I had a '72, Way Back! Nice car, 18R.
