Hi I just got a new Corolla.  My first car ever!  This is my first time
on usenet that my uncle showed me about.  Is this a good car?  It's not
really my taste.  I wanted the Jeep.  But my daddy said it wasn't very
safe.  I wanted the white corolla but instead ended up with a blue one.

How long does this car last?  What are some of the things I should
watch out for?  What is the depreciascion?  I would like to sell it in
a couple years so I can get the car that I want.

so long,
~~Judy~~

My son ( 22 in the Air Force ) just bought his first new car....2006
Corolla Black Sport.

It is an outstanding car.

I have a '92 Corolla wagon that is as good as brand new.

Take care of your car and it will last a good 300,000 miles....at
least.

All cars are good cars today, and like any vehicle your new Corolla should
last a long time, if given the proper preventive maintenance.  What 'things'
should you watch out for, all the other drivers in bigger vehicles.  As to
retained value in a few years, that will depend on the condition of the
vehicle and the mileage at the time you choose to sell.  Since you dad
bought the car, your return should be 100% of the value at that time   ;)

Depending on what you mean by a Jeep, you are probably way ahead with the
Corolla.
