Hi All

Have had a diesel Shogun for many years but getting past its sell by date

Looking at a diesel Terrano or Maverick at about T or V reg as cannot afford
a Shogun of same age

Don't off road at all nowadays and would only be used for caravan towing in
UK so no long hauls as I used to do with the Shogun

Any thoughts about these vehicles for use as described

Known problems etc

One specific question as well. Can they be used in 4 wheel drive on ordinary
roads (Shogun is fine with this)

No patricular problem and a fairly nice drive.

No they can't. Rear drive only but this should not present a problem for
your intended use.
