Hi

My new UK 2005  Pathfinder came with free rear parking sensors but no
obvious way to turn them off.

Just wondering what happens when towing a caravan...............constant
bleep ?

Anybody experienced / resolved this problem?

Not sure I like them any way so perhaps one option is to disconnect them
somehow or is there a simpler way to switch them off as and when required.

Thanks in advance

Didn't you get a manual with it?

For a new car I'd ask my dealer first ... you might not get exactly the
answer you need from usenet.  ;)

Hi Paul

Nothing came with it, I suspect it's a third party option rather than a
Nissan accessory, will give them a ring tomorrow.

If it is anything like the ones on a Discovery they only work when reverse
gear is selected. Discos have a swithch on the dash to turn them off as
well.

Most only work when reverse gear is selected. Many newer ones adapt to a
trailer without a switch although some do, or did, fit an off switch.
Just drive the thing and see how it works.
