I have got a Suzuki Grand Vitara 3 Door 2.0TD Aug 2005. Do I need to use a
drop plate to stop the tow ball from obscuring the number plate. I might
have to use one because the vans A Frame is quite low.

Has anyone put a towbar on a Vitara before.

Many Thanks

Had one on an exes long wheel base grand vitara - just had a standard
one and ignored the fact that it covered a bit of the number plate - we
towed a 1989 compass omega caravan with it and had no probs whatsoever
- it towed it great,

am just getting one fitted next week to my grand vitara 2.0 petrol -
had option of removable or standard - am having the standard at half
the price lol - it will prob blocka little of the number plate but not
too much -

Have also had a tow bar on the 1.6 old shape vitara and dad has one on
his 2.0 diesel vitara too

there are a few of us use them for towing...GRIN
