This is a bit of a long shot but here goes.  15 - 18 years ago I found plans
for a semi-scale Willys Jeep for kids and built one for my young sons. It
was built from plywood, had a wiper motor to power it, a footbrake and
working headlamps.   The main part of the body was cut from a single sheet
of 1/2" plywood and the running gear was all steel bar and rod.  Powered
from a car battery under the bonnet.  Size was 2' wide and 4' long.   It
looked really good, got crashed, rolled and went through two motors and two
sets of wheel barrow tyres in its 4 years or so of heavy use and abuse.  It
really was bloody good fun. The thing my boys have now grown up and I want
to build one for my new grandson.  I cannot remember who sold the plans and
the bits, but I recall that it featured in a car magazine at the time.  All
I can find on the net are plastic cars. Does anybody have any ideas?
