x-trail turbo problems

Beware, x-trails have a prolem with ceramic seals on the turbo (136bhp
diesel thingy ones).

Nissan have a three week back order on these and you get a service exchange
one even then........
Nissan don't answer emails....
the colour wipes off the plastic wheel well cover leaving white plastic  (I
guess it's just sprayed with acrylic paint).....

Oh right, I forgot - nearly done 8000 miles before the Turbo seals went....

stick with your Brit cars and forget nissan (renault) crap

you were worse off than me. I got 15,000 miles out of my first turbo and
they swapped it 'no questions asked' in 3 days.

service maanger did say it was a known problem and they'd swapped loads.

watch for a turbo oil leak apparently onto the top rad hose - turbo
death soon to follow.
