Hope someone out there can help,

I tow a caravan and i have just fitted a second relay and grey towing
socket to my 2004 Nissan Navara double cab, everthing seems to be ok
with regards to the caravan fridge and battery etc.

However the 12v + supply i have used on the alternator (yellow with
black line) to switch the relay is causing the battery warning light to
remain on even after the engine is running. There is no loss of power
or draining of the battery and as mentioned before eveything seems ok,
just this annoying battery warning light on the dash board.

So the question is have i done something wrong and how can i resolve it
?
