Hi There

Can anyone say what alternatives there are to paying the extortionate prices
of ford parts.

I need Discs and Pads all round (expensive)

Are the offers on ebay good quality?

Thanks in advance

They crop up regularly on Ebay and let's face it, they can't be any worse
than the original Ford items. You should be able to pick up the full set of
discs and pads for around £100 - £120 ish. Don't forget about the parking
brake shoes while you're on with the job.

Mintex, EBC and others offer both disks and pads.

Yes, I've bought several sets from ebay and they've all been the same
as/better than the originals. The Explorer doesn't have expensive parts (in
the USA) and shares disks/pads with the US version of the Ranger (not the
UK version of the Ranger).
