Hi all, as a regular visitor to this group, it's about
time that I made a contribution,
I have just saved £100 on my car insurance
renewal,[not classic] thought I should share
with you guys how.  First of all I logged onto
gocompare.com they beat my renewal quote
by £60, with Hastings Direct.
A friend had told me about a website
moneysavingcashback.com I looked at their
cashback offers, they were offering £40 cashback
if you buy through them, job done £100 saved in 20
mins !!!.
ps, HA  still going strong....

I  was with Churchill. I went onto a compare site and finally went with M&S.
When I phoned Churchill to say I was not going to renew they asked what my
new premium was. I told them (£150 less). They offered to match the quote. I
said that if you can do it why did you quote the much higher renewal. They
said that I had to go to them with my quote and they would match it. In
future I will always compare, it would seem if you just renew you are
probably being ripped off.
I did the same with my house and contents,  with a reputable insurer saved
another £200.
