The road tyres on my Daewoo Musso need changing soon, I'd like to replace
with a good AT tyre.. any suggestions?

BF Goodrich are superb.  Good on road and off-road and last what seems like
forever .. ;)

I agree,
Though personally I like the Michelin XZY myself, depends on where you
drive it. I like deestones for when I'm heading to a muddy location as
I often need to do.

My local cheapy tyre company can do BA Goodrich AT's for 107 quid all in,
seems reasonable..?

Won't these be a bit more slippy going round corners/roundabouts with a bit
of power to the back wheels?

AT's are usually 50/50 and quite respectable on-road and mild
off-road, though if you are always on-road then use a road-pattern
tyre as it'll grip better and last longer.

Ah yes, but half the reason for choosing the Goodrich's is they look good ;)

If it's pure road performance you're after then AT's will disappoint you.

If it's pure off-road performance you're after then AT's will disappoint
you.

If it's a mixture of driving you do then AT's are a most excellent
compromise.  Sure the back end will break away on dirt or road, but so what?
Don't drive like a tosser and they won't.  If you want to drive like a
tosser then get a set of road wheels/tyres and a set of off-road
wheels/tyres ...

If you just want to look like a poseur then who cares what you put on ... or
what it costs.

It's a horrible place, you don't want to come here^W^W go there. Honest,
there's nothing to see. Move along now.
