Better a little spam as you call it, re something that may do one of you a
favour than no messages as it seems to be at present, if you drive a 4x4 you
will need tyres at some time and I will help if I can to point buyers to the
best choice, one little add and the minority go into one.

I was pointing out the irony of 'Nobby No Mates' calling your post spam,
yet still re-posting it in it's entirety.

And your post is spam, as you acknowledge, posted to several newsgroups
that I sub to, and yes I do have a 4x4 with brand new BFG AT 31x105's on
it. £379 for four, can you better that, fitted and balanced, in Doncaster?

This 'spam pr advert' argument crops up every time a trader has something to
sell and yet is ignored when it is advertised by a private individual.

I can see ( but struggle to ) that there is a slight difference but
certainly not one that is worththe next 2 weeks of thread!

If you want the tyres from Andy then phone him thus proving the post was
relative and not spam. If you don'y want them then don't contact him or even
read the post - just like you have the choice not to read the continuation
of any thread that maight be about a subject you are not interested in !!!

Both David and Andy have been posting here for a long time and I would
hardly call them spammers. They don't over do it and their stuff is
relevant to the group.

I for one don't really mind the odd post, private or commercial if it
is of relevance to the group.

Spam is constant, unwanted, unrelated junk.
