Hi,
Started my car this morning to see to the handbrake and battery light
stay on, whilst driving.
In the past they have flicked on for half a second. But never for as
long as they did today (40 mins)
The handbrake was down, but the light stayed on. Im going to have a
look in the vauxhall book (i forget its proper name) when i get home, i
was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions to what is causing
this?
Thank you

Brakes feel fine (had them replaced 700 miles ago).

Aux drive belt is slipping or missing, or alternator is not charging. You'll
have a flat battery soon.

I had it on my old Micra. It was the rear brake that was leaking, had to
change both. I would check if it's not wet.

I can pretty much guarentee it's not brakes related on this. I've seen it
hundreds of times.

Handbrake light on may indicate low brake fluid, or simply that the switch
is stuck. Battery light on may indicate worn brushes in alternator, ie. not
charging.
