Probably not for me I'm afraid, I don't know where I'll be tomorrow, if you
see what I mean. Right now I'm resting 'cos I'm knackered. :-(

Not me. No spare petrol money ATM.
Job 1 is supposed to start on 2nd of Jan, but it was supposed to start
4th of Dec.
Job 2 is going to let me know whether they want me, how much they will
pay me and whether they want me to start on 2nd of Jan, sometime this
week.
Job 1 is in Blackburn, smaller less established company, but probably
better money, less formal dress.
Job 2 is Ellesmere Port, company has been arround longer but more
specilised, less web work. Has an office uniform, most likely less money
and a lot less driving. Might be harder to fit in and get upto speed
with.
Of course it is possible that Job 2 will decide another candidate will
be better even though I had the second interview, and Job 1 might either
put back again or withdraw the offer. So I might be out of work still I
just don't know.

Do I see the depression that a long period at home brings starting to
appear? Shite innit? Novelty wears off after the second week. At least
when it's a holiday you can spend money.
I've been lucky in the fact that the only time I've had a long period
off work was because I couldn't move, not because I had no work.

Lot worse than that mate.
Since Sept I've been out of work. Had a fair few interviews etc.
Money is tight but not stupidly so.
This year so far, shares options that were supposed to be instead of a
pay rise for the last 5 years finally mature. So I pay for them and wait
for the certificate.
Then I get made redundant twice.
Then I get an offer but doesn't want me to start for another month.
Then the shares I have bomb and can't sell them because it would cost
more than they are worth (paper share certificate not holding account)
Then my mother dies.
Then he puts the start back a month and I haven't heard anything since.
Then I get the 1st and 2nd interview. So I'm hoping for an offer.
Neither job are ideal, but they would make the new year start a lot
better than the old one finished. Been one crappy year. I reckon since
Sept I have filled the car up 3 times so I haven't even been doing any
fun driving anymore.
