Love florida, love the fact you can have a car without any windows or doors
but you can still drive it as long as the lights work and the tyres aint
bald!
ah that's the other thing you can even get tyres in wallmart! loads of them!
still back to this piss hole now, ok so florida aint to great, there was
some serial killer about around the area i was at and the cops can be a bit
harsh on the speeding fines too and lets not touch the health care stuff.
i'd still love to live there though, nice houses, people are nice (well
unless your close to orlando) and they don't sh.t on the car driver so badly
like they do here. all they got to worry about is paying $4 a gallon (us
gallon too).
still what i miss in 16 days?

SteveH has bought a Ducati, DanB has bought a FWD which SteveH thinks is a
shopping trolley, I lost my mind and bought a 4.0 Cherokee, Elder's Saab
hasn't broken down while you've been away, Conor's still a grump and
Burgerman still hates diesels.
Not a lot really ;-)

DanB in a FWD clio? *shakes head* looks like it all went down hill, wel
except for the petrol prices.
we hired a 300C but they was all gone time we got there (flight was late) so
they bumped me up to an SUV and we got a suzuki XL7 which i moaned about at
first but was actually a really good car! done 500 miles with $50 worth of
petrol which i thought was pretty good! that's just under 30 quid!

GAYER!
You do realise that you've just claimed that the Vitara is a good car,
don't you?
MX5s, FWD Clios and Vitaras. You're camper than Butlins on a bank
holiday weekend.

At $3.50/US gallon, that's about 35mpg. Given the manufacturer's stated mpg
is 16/22 (latter is highway), either you were driving it like dervman on a
mission, or your sums are off :-)

Bumped you UP to a Suzuki XL7?
That's a funny definition of up.
When I go to Florida in August, it'll be a Mustang please. Or a Dodge
Challenger if they're on stream by then.

And my Liberty is still at the panel beaters and I've rebuilt the brakes on my
landcruiser after they locked on me on the freeway at 60mph.

Most of the news seems to have centred around Dan chopping the V6 for a
197, he tried to bury the bad news by telling us there's something wrong
with him that can't be fixed, but the group has cut back to the real
issue at hand - whether FWD shopping trolleys are best converted to mid
engined RWD or not.
Seems to have got the group talking. (c:

In my defence I wasn't gonna mention it yet because I haven't picked it up
yet heh - but when RKP mentioned his Recaros I had to show mine :-p

Talking of Recaros, just back from nipping up to Falkirk to get a full
Recaro interior for the Capri.

I've just returned from PorrigeWogLand™ as well. Dropped the ZT-T off in
Melrose. That A7 is quite good fun.

Was thinking I should've PM'd you to see if you were in.
I was gobsmacked when this guy opened his garage though...
1 pristine concours condition 2.8i.
1 daily driver 2.8i with just one small bubble on one wing.
But the icing on the cake..
Original Swaymar Capri.
It's a 3.2L Turbo and they only ever made two. Light blue X-packed with
300BHP on tap and it's in showroom condition. The lucky bastard got it
for £8000. I'm jealous as f.ck.

You should have said.
Lord Douglas or I could have made you a cup of tea.
You got within a mile of our respective castles if you travelled up the
usual road.

Bugger. I did kind of think about it on the way up. However after
seeing one of the only two Swaymar Cappers ever made, I was thinking
about other things on the way back.

I sold the Vee and bought a yellow Clio R27 - everyone cares a lot more than
I thought, I feel quiet loved :-) That and the hospital wrote me off.
SteveH bought a Ducati - I don't know if that's good or not. PeteM got hold
of a V8 Rover 75 and knocked one out over it. Some other stuff happened.

Heh - I think some care more about you buying a FWD shopping trolley on
steroids than the hospital writing you off.
Get the 911. You deserve it.

Yebutt, a gallon's smaller over there, so it went up less.......
Or something.
