So am I the only person who found them pretty expensive?

I guess so then... I got a quote for a Peugeot 306 GTi with them, it was
around ?1500. Elephant quoted ?850.

I always do confused, elephant, and direct line, then go with whichever is
cheapest.

Nope, and for me, their service was _crap_.

"Searches 20 gazillion insurers". IIRC, they could only "quote" from 4
insurers, one was a very expensive quote, and the other 3 were "We can't
quote you" replies.

Pete.

Strange innit? Works for some, not for others. Perhaps it didn't like the
look of you?

Hmm.. I'm on Privilege (by far the cheapest) and my details are
'better' than yours (no accidents/claims, 8yrsNCB), but I'm into 4
figures with an Audi S4. Surely a similar risk to a WRX? Strangely
though, Privilege seem to think that an S4 is the same as an RS4 (they
throw out the same quote, to the penny), and an RS6 would cost be
£5.25 extra per year..!

Where do you live,  I dont live in a city just a little costal town in south
west Scotland,  that would make a big difference if you lived in london etc.
Car theft where i am is pretty much unheard of.
