My sister has a 2000 model Ford Fiesta, its metalic black in colour, does anyone know the exact colour as per Fords description? ive heard it may be "panther black" can anyone confirm this is the only metalic black Ford do? Find some excuse to get the paint code from the plate (under bonnet, or drivers door jamb not sure on Fiestas) or ring dealer giving reg number. You need to look under the bonnet - it's called Panther Black, but there are lots of different versions of the colour. Very fussy indeed - some are quite happy if the part is fitted by Ford, some if it's a Ford part but don't care who fitted it... I think it depends on what type. If its the OEM Ford one fitted to many Fiestas, I wouldnt say its bad taste. They are quite subtle. Get expert opinion from a professional touch-up firm like Dent Magician as to which one applies. Icedog. |
