Im changing cars this week to an 2003 ford mondeo 2.0tdci 130. Insurance
rates for this seem quite a jump from my current 2dti zafira. Are fords more
expensive to insure or is it the jump to 130bhp thats driving the increase?
... the car values are only £500 apart.

Swiftcover seems to be the cheapest at £340 - this is £140 cheaper than the
next quote (ive done quite a few and been through the confused.com quote
where you get loads of quotes from filling it in once) as well but ive
always been wary of the deal that seems too good to be true ... anyone else
using swiftcover, had any experience of their claims?

Try a Mk 2 Mondeo! My insurance came down after changing!

Same power, twice the torque, twice the shiny things, 6 5 years newer!

Pete.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember Pete Smith <pete_news@lethe.org.uk>
saying something like:

It looks like swiftcover have only just set up, so nobody is likely to
have experience of their claims. Popped onto confused.com after 03/07
and are always cheapest, looking at my list of quotes. A part of
www.primarygroup.co.uk if that gives you any more reassurance.
