I got a really low quote as well. The immediate problem I can see it that
they don't have a call centre. Everything is done by email. So if there
response time on email is bad, you are stuck.

They do seem to have a telephone number you can call but that makes a joke
of their 'no call centre' claim.

I had an accident (my fault) and my car was written off back in January
when I was with them and my experiences have been pretty mixed. On the
plus side they paid out for my car within a couple of weeks, but I had
to ask them twice before they contacted the other party's insurers (and
in the meantime I got the snotty letters from their insurance with dire
threats if I didn't pass the details on.)
Also I felt that after having an accident I wanted to talk to somebody
on the phone and not rely on email. They use 0870 lines presumably to
put you off and I've had to wait a minute or more in a queue to get through.
They do have some good ideas though. They accept letters, claim forms,
proof of no claims etc scanned and sent by email though so that saves on
postage. And your policy documents are available online to print off
whenever you need them (eg for an MOT.)
All in all - if you have an accident, not bad, but not terrific.
Cheers

So that's four accidents you had in January - your premium must be sky-high
now!
