Mazda London have sent me a flyer offering a new 1.8 MX-5 soft-top with air con (who needs air con on a convertible?) and leather seats for £12.5k. Offer ends 31 Dec apparently. Is this a good buy? Even roof down in summer it is much, much nicer to have AC in an MX5 than not have it. Trust me on this. Or are you one of those people who thinks AC costs £5 a mile to run and knackers the AC on anything you own by never using it. Errm I think you're the one that fails to understand it in this context. Air-con pulling in outside air will quickly build up hiogh levels of diseasel fumes inside the car. Put it on reccirculate and it will reduce the level of fumes in the car, for a time.
