I seem to recall a Jensen Interceptor (or an FF?) from the last series, but
two seconds on google suggests he's in a Bristol 408 for this series.

Kept thinking what the hell it is. Too small and square to be aJjag, too
large to be a Gordon Keeble, but I could just see a round badge on the
bonnet, and too modern to be an Alvis. Kept thinking it was a Bristol of
somekind. I like his missuses Saab 9k

Thanks

Small?? It's a huge car!

Huge is relative. Some cars have great stature, but are relatively
small, some appear to be small, but are infact massive.

Quite often 2 and 4 doors of the same car look different. I imagine that
Linley's Bristol is slightly smaller (only slightly smaller mind) than
an XJ Coupe, which is the same size as an XJ saloon (total length), but
looks smaller thanks to the shorter two door cabin.

As I said some cars are deceptively large for thier actuall size, and
Vice Versa.

Nope, it'll be bigger than an XJ. It's got a 6-odd litre Chrysler v8 in
it...

For a bit of scale, there's flaps behind each front wheelarch, in front of
the door pillar. One side contains the battery, the other the spare wheel.

Yep, as I thought.

Really, even with the 6 litre I would have imagined that it was smaller
than an XJ, so that it would give a huge power to weight ratio.

I saw that on the Home and Leisure show where they rebuilt one.
Looked absolutley fantastic.

Somehow I think they might remain outside my price range for a while but
I would seriously love either a Bristol or Gordon Keeble in mint
condition as an everyday car (don't want much do I).
