herald gear box 1200 1300?????

anyone now how to tell the difference between a 1200 and 1300 gearbox,
can it be done by the numbers on the box???

The same box was used on the Herald 1200, 12/50 and 13/60, the number is
prefixed GB. There are a number of similar gearboxes used in other Triumphs
which have different prefixes, plus various codes used to identify
reconditioned units,
