I have received an email today from the boss saying I can drive a Vauxhall
Combo at 70mph on a NSL dual carraigeway as it is a car derived van. (And 60
in
a NSL SC etc).
This was the result of a NIP issued to a Combo driver (69 on a NSL DC) in
Warwickshire but apparently Warwickshire Policing have now verbally
confirmed that the Combo is a car derived van and the higher limits apply.

I feel stupid asking but what the hell is the car that the Combo is derived
from?

Needs to have a GVW <2t, too. If it's one of the high-payload versions,
you might want to check that.

Mike G & Adrian

I'm really surprised. Corsa it is then. Makes me wonder how much of the
original car has to go into making the van for it to be a car derived van.

Thanks
