I was and yes I find it terribly interesting. I couldn't answer that until I
have seen them.

Indeed it is. But what happens once you drive past a ANPR with say no
insurance ?
...Only interest in the anpr as were we live the DVLA have had a number of
new vehicles doing roadside checks. Sadly I was pulled over for having no
insurance. I had just taken the insurance out the night before and aparantly
it had not shown up on the national insurance database so I was told. The
police officer said he didn't belive me otherwise their faultless ANPR
camera would have "pinged me up" so he proceeded to call Admiral and soon
looked very stupid and apologised and I was on my way.
It gave a a few things to think about one being how quickly does your
insurance details get onto this database ?
And if you were a rougue driver with no insurance for example and a ANPR
camera "pinged you" what happens next ...assuming its say a motorway one or
a non patrolled one. Does a flying helicopter fully equipped with rockets
lock onto you a blow you up ? or does a fleet of class A police drivers T
pack you ? or in true British fashion do you receive a brown envelope
through the door, or does it just log your plate and the net time it passes
a ANPR patrolled setup pings you to getting pulled over to explain why you
had no insurance on such date and time ?

Having a bad day are you?
If you're so clever, why not answer the OPs question in a more
civilized fashion?

The information is already out there, if people can be bothered to look.

I was not able to access google at the time.
So much for friendly sharing of information.
Its amazing how 90% of posts here seem to go way off topic which petty crap.

There's more than one search engine.

Why didn't you do a search, find the information for yourself and save
yourself the embarrassment of looking like a numpty?

Why don't you stick your head in a bucket? Do you think every moron too
thick to use Google deserves an answer?
